Dr. Richard Cooper is a leading expert on the subject of bed bugs. He currently serves as the Technical Director of Cooper Pest Solutions, a second generation, family owned pest control company founded in 1955. Richard holds a visiting scholar appointment at Rutgers University in the Department of Entomology.
He is a frequent speaker at industry meetings, has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as industry trade journals, and he edited the bed bug chapter in the 9th and 10th edition of The Mallis Handbook of Pest Control. He also coauthored the most comprehensive text on bedbugs titled The Bed Bug Handbook, the Complete Guide to Bed Bugs and Their Control.
